In The Weeds Hunt Giveaway & Equip Expo Giveaways · Effective October 14, 2026

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A purchase or payment will not increase your chances of winning. Void where prohibited. Open only to legal residents of the 50 United States and D.C. who are 18 or older. See Section 4 for free ways to enter.

1. Sponsor

These giveaways (the “Promotion”) are sponsored by Lawn Buddy (“Lawn Buddy,” “Sponsor,” “we,” or “us”), Wichita, Kansas. Questions: hello@lawnbuddy.com. Prize partners and co-sponsors (“Promotional Partners”) are listed in Section 9. Instagram, Facebook, YouTube and any other social media platform do not sponsor, endorse or administer this Promotion and are fully released by each entrant.

2. Eligibility

  • Open to legal residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia who are at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in their state, if older) at the time of entry.
  • Military & First Responder Hunt: open only to current or former members of the U.S. Armed Forces (including the Coast Guard, National Guard and Reserves) and current or former firefighters, law enforcement officers, EMS personnel and emergency dispatchers. The potential winner must provide verification of service (for example a DD-214, military ID, VA card, or agency/department ID or letter) before being confirmed as the winner.
  • Hunt prizes: the winner must be legally able to hunt in Idaho and to obtain any required hunting license or tag, and must be able to travel on the dates set by Sponsor and the outfitter.
  • Employees of Sponsor and of the Promotional Partners, and members of their immediate families or households, are not eligible.

3. Promotion periods & drawings

  • Equip Expo giveaways: entries accepted at Equip Expo through the start of the drawing on Thursday, October 22, 2026. Entrants must be present at the drawing to win. The drawing time will be texted to entrants.
  • Water buffalo hunts (Lawn Buddy Customer Hunt and Military & First Responder Hunt): entries accepted through 11:59 p.m. Mountain Time on Wednesday, November 25, 2026. Winners drawn on Thursday, November 26, 2026. You do not need to be present for the hunt drawings.

Sponsor’s computer and records are the official timekeeping and entry devices for the Promotion.

4. How to enter

Lawn Buddy Customer Hunt

  • Existing members: current Lawn Buddy Pro or Exclusive members using Global Payments are entered automatically.
  • New customers: create a Lawn Buddy account and either sign up for Lawn Buddy through Global Payments, which includes one free year, or choose a paid Pro or Exclusive plan.
  • Free method of entry (no purchase or payment): email hello@lawnbuddy.com with the subject “Customer Hunt Free Entry” and include your full name, mailing address, phone number and email address. Free entries are entered in the same drawing and have the same chance of winning as all other entries.

Military & First Responder Hunt

Complete the registration form at lbhunts.com/register. Registration is free.

Equip Expo giveaways

Visit the Lawn Buddy booth at Equip Expo, scan the QR code and create a free Lawn Buddy account (no paid plan required). Booth Bingo bonus entries: take a photo at each participating booth on the Booth Bingo card while wearing Lawn Buddy swag, and post it publicly on social media tagging @getlawnbuddy. You earn one bonus entry per participating booth. Bonus entries are optional and are not required to win.

Limits

Except for Booth Bingo bonus entries, there is a limit of one entry per person and per email address for each giveaway. Entries made through automated means, scripts or bots, or by using multiple identities or email addresses, are void. Incomplete or late entries are void.

5. Winner selection & odds

Winners are selected in random drawings from all eligible entries received for each giveaway. One winner will be drawn for each prize. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.

6. Winner notification & verification

Potential hunt winners will be contacted by phone and/or email and must respond within five (5) days. Potential winners may be required to sign and return an affidavit of eligibility, a liability release and (where lawful) a publicity release, plus an IRS Form W-9, within the time stated in the notice. Military & First Responder Hunt winners must also provide verification of service. If a potential winner does not respond in time, is ineligible, cannot be verified or does not comply with these rules, the prize may be forfeited and an alternate winner drawn. Equip Expo prizes are awarded on site, and the winner must be present.

7. Prizes

  • Lawn Buddy Customer Hunt (1 winner): a fully guided water buffalo hunt at Rose Lake Elk Ranch, Idaho.
  • Military & First Responder Hunt (1 winner): a fully guided water buffalo hunt at Rose Lake Elk Ranch, Idaho, on the same trip as the Customer Hunt winner.
  • Equip Expo giveaways: a guided New Mexico fly fishing trip with lodging and a $500 travel gift card; a Montana Knife Company custom knife; $1,000 cash; a Turtlebox speaker.
  • Every winner also receives one free year of Lawn Buddy.

Hunt and trip dates are set by Sponsor and the outfitter or guide, and are subject to availability, weather and applicable law. Unless Sponsor states otherwise in writing, travel to and from the hunt or trip location, licenses, tags, permits, trophy fees, processing, taxidermy, shipping, gratuities, meals not included in the package, and all other expenses are the winner’s responsibility. Prizes are non-transferable. No cash or other substitution is allowed, except that Sponsor may substitute a prize of equal or greater value if a prize becomes unavailable. Winners are responsible for all federal, state and local taxes. Winners of prizes valued at $600 or more will receive an IRS Form 1099.

8. Assumption of risk & release

Hunting, fishing and travel involve inherent risks, including serious injury or death. Winners must follow all instructions of the outfitter, guides and ranch, and all applicable hunting and firearms laws. By entering, each entrant agrees to release and hold harmless Sponsor, the Promotional Partners, Rose Lake Elk Ranch and its guides, and each of their officers, employees and agents, from any claims, injuries, losses or damages arising from participation in the Promotion or from the acceptance, use or misuse of any prize, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

9. Promotional Partners & use of your information

The Promotional Partners for this Promotion are Global Payments (presenting sponsor), Rose Lake Elk Ranch, SB Mowing and Walker Mowers, and, for the Equip Expo giveaways and Booth Bingo, the participating Equip Expo booth partners, including Mulch Mate, Senix and Stripe Life.

By entering, you agree that:

  • Lawn Buddy may share the information you submit, including your name, email, phone, mailing address and (for the Military & First Responder Hunt) service branch, with the Promotional Partners. They may use it to administer and fulfill prizes and to contact you about their own products, services and offers. Each Promotional Partner’s use of your information is governed by its own privacy policy.
  • Lawn Buddy may send you marketing emails about Lawn Buddy products, services, events and future promotions. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any marketing email, and unsubscribing will not affect your entry.
  • Lawn Buddy and its Promotional Partners may contact you by phone, text or email about this Promotion, including drawing times and winner notification. Message and data rates may apply.

10. Publicity

Except where prohibited by law, accepting a prize constitutes the winner’s consent to the use of their name, city, state, likeness, photographs and video from the hunt or trip, and statements about the Promotion by Sponsor and the Promotional Partners for advertising and promotional purposes. This includes the In The Weeds podcast and social media, without further compensation. By posting Booth Bingo photos and tagging @getlawnbuddy, you grant Sponsor a royalty-free license to repost and share those posts.

11. General conditions

Sponsor may disqualify any person who tampers with the entry process, violates these rules or acts in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner. If the Promotion cannot run as planned because of fraud, technical failures or any other cause beyond Sponsor’s control, Sponsor may cancel, modify or suspend the Promotion and select winners from eligible entries received before the action. Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, misdirected or garbled entries, or for technical, network or computer malfunctions. Sponsor’s decisions are final.

12. Disputes & governing law

These rules are governed by the laws of the State of Kansas, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute arising from the Promotion will be resolved individually, without resort to any class action, in the state or federal courts located in Sedgwick County, Kansas.

13. Winners list
